Spain and Italy were a little disappointing, but I played very well last week but was slightly unlucky to be on the wrong side of the draw, especially on Friday morning. It was a day where all the players were asked to wear an item of pink clothing to support the Marie Keating Foundation, the weather was that awful for us that unless you had a pink woolly hat or waterproof jacket it was mainly black to be seen! I came off the course pleased with my battling round of 2 under and thought at 3 under total I would be comfortably in for the weekend, but the bad weather passed and by the middle of the afternoon it was a lovely day and I was on my way to the airport. It was another missed cut by one shot. I did spend Sunday afternoon watching the golf though, as my good friend Robert Rock was up there at the top of the leaderboard. He played very well and was unlucky to lose in a play off, the only consolation is that he will get the winners cheque as he was beaten by the young Irish amateur.

I now have three events at "home" and am looking forward to them, one of the best parts is being able to take my car and not have to worry about baggage limits like last week. It's hard to pack a weeks worth of clothes into 15kgs! Wentworth is one of my favourite courses and the tournament is always one of the best we play each year, lets hope we get some nice weather and some good golf.
