22nd August After three flights I ended up arriving in the Czech Republic and headed straight to my hotel. I went up to the course on Tuesday morning and after hitting balls on the range I headed out to play. I joined Gary Boyd, who I played with for the first two rounds of the tournament, he had a great week and ended up getting beat in a play off. James Morrison also played with us in pracatice, I hadn't played with either of them before but was very impressed, the number of good young players coming through is amazing and definitely makes me feel like an old man! 22nd July I arrived in Sweden on Monday and headed to play a practice round on Tuesday morning. The golf course is quite new and is set on a beautiful bit of land with some holes being played in trees and some along the shoreline of a huge lake. The course was good but too long, from the back tees it is over 8,000 yards and with the wind that seemed to blow everyday made it a bit silly. We ended up playing off some forward tees but at 7,500 yards and greens with some ridiculous slopes on them it was still a bit debatable at times whether it was fair or not! Read More...
11th July The weather in France didn't cool down at all from the last update and the only thing that kept me sane was the fan that reception managed to get to me in my room. 1st May I have spent the last couple of weeks playing and practicing hard, getting ready for a big run of tournaments leading up to the summer. It will be nice to have a good run of tournaments rather than the start stop as it's been so far this year. Read More...
4th February I enjoyed my five weeks away to start the New Year as the weather was much nicer than it was at home in Newcastle, which wouldn't take much. There has been very little respite since I got home, there really hasn't been a good day at all. Read More...
