The Ferrie Foundation

The Ferrie Foundation is committed to raising funds and awareness for local organisations and good causes.

Ken believes that we are given two hands for a special reason, one to receive and the other to give. He hopes that through his foundation he will be able to give back to his local community.

We are pleased to announce that the Alzheimer's Society and Marie Curie Cancer
Care will be the beneficiaries of the Ferrie Foundation Pro-Am at Matfen Hall on
Wednesday 17th of September.

"The Alzheimer's Society staff and volunteers work together to provide help
and information to people affected by dementia in our community. Local branch
services include day care and home care for people with dementia, as well as
support services to help families cope with the demands of caring. Branches
provide both practical support and an essential point of human contact."

"Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give
people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home,
supported by their families. Every donation means more time for Marie Curie
nurses to spend caring for patients."

Ken would like all of the money raised to benefit North East people and believes
that Marie Curie and the Alzheimer's Society will be able to continue to make
a difference at a time of need.
